New Chicago Cubs Spring Training complex features SwimEx for Hydrotherapy

Mar 3, 2014 9:03:00 AM / by SwimEx Blog

The new hydrotherapy room at the Chicago Cubs Spring Training complex in Mesa, Arizona, offers a 15,000-seat spring training stadium, six fan-accessible practice fields, community park and pond, and, our favorite, a full training facility with 4 medium hot and cold plunge tanks and a 1000T pool with an integrated Woodway treadmill.

The SwimEx installation was featured in the Sport Business Journal. You can't read it unless you are a subscriber but we have our section here!

"The most intriguing fact is that SwimEx pools can be used through every phase of rehabilitation and conditioning," said Meredith Thomas, in charge of sports sales for SwimEx. "They can be used for someone just out of surgery all the way to high-intensity conditioning. The work stations give trainers limitless exercises they can do with their players."

MESA, Ariz. -- The Cubs drew a Cactus League-record crowd of 14,486 on Thursday when they christened their new spring stadium, Cubs Park http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com
